What we build

Our engineering is reflected in the products we build, whether they are used in-house or by our partners.

openRECEIVER

MQTT · HTTP · WEBSOCKET · NTRIP

The marketplace for downstream space services

openRECEIVER connects space-service providers with application developers over standardized APIs, a unified backend for distributing GNSS corrections, Earth Observation, and satellite communication services as SaaS.

  • Standardized service APIs (MQTT · HTTP · WebSocket · NTRIP)
  • Subscription, metering, and billing handled for providers
  • Service quality monitoring across the marketplace

NavCast

PPP · 20 CM · GALILEO + GPS · NTRIP 2.0

High-accuracy GNSS correction service

NavCast streams real-time orbit and clock corrections plus code and phase biases for Galileo and GPS, using Precise Point Positioning to reach 20 cm accuracy anywhere on Earth.

  • Real-time orbit, clock, and bias corrections
  • 20 cm accuracy delivered globally over NTRIP 2.0
  • For surveying, navigation, machine guidance, and geodesy

ORX Chipset Family

CHIPSET · FPGA · GNSS + SATCOM · DEVBOARD

A configurable chipset family for satcom and navigation

The ORX chipset family is a set of configurable hardware chips for satellite communications, GNSS positioning, and peripheral interfaces. Developers can integrate their own custom solutions directly on the chips or use our OEM modules, enabling a single family of building blocks to be integrated into boards for a wide range of applications.

  • Satellite communication and GNSS positioning, fused with IMUs and other peripherals
  • Configurable building blocks that integrate onto boards for many applications
  • Standardised carrier-board interfaces

spaceAPI

ASYNCAPI · APACHE AVRO · L1 / L2 CONFORMANCE

An interoperability profile for the space domain

spaceAPI lets space components interoperate without per-pair negotiation. It applies AsyncAPI to describe interfaces and Apache Avro to describe messages, so once a component follows the profile, any consumer, tool, or AI can integrate it automatically, with no bespoke adapter code.

  • AsyncAPI-described interfaces, Avro-typed messages
  • Integrate once, connect to many, with no bilateral coordination
  • Two conformance levels: described (L1) and machine-integrable (L2)
  • Permissive open-source license

02 / Capabilities

A space technology company.

Thya Aerospace is a German space technology company from Munich. We engineer across the full stack, from software and FPGA to electronics, PCB, and put it to work in the space domains that depend on it.

Software engineering

Mission and application software across the user, ground, and space segment.

FPGA development

Real-time signal processing and compute implemented in reconfigurable logic.

Electronics & PCB design

Schematic capture, board layout, and bring-up of custom electronics.

GNSS & Navigation

Positioning, navigation and timing, with interference mitigation and high-accuracy corrections.

Onboard & Ground software

Flight software for data handling, control, and on-board autonomy. Mission operations, data processing, and service backends on the ground.

Earth observation

Turning satellite and sensor data into usable Earth observation products.

03 / Segments

One team across all three segments.

Space systems fail at the seams. Because we engineer the space, ground, and user segment under one roof, the interfaces between them are designed, not negotiated.

Space segment

Onboard software that survive launch and operate reliably in orbit.

Ground segment

Mission operations, data processing, and the service backends that keep missions running.

User segment

Receivers, applications, and services that put space data to work on Earth.
